Learn with Drew Clifton
I’m a USRSA Master Racquet Technician and the owner of Frisco Tennis Stringing. I’ve strung and customized more than 1,000 rackets and built my own tennis pro shop.
I created Pro Shop Academy to give you the structured instruction and personal feedback I wish I had when I started. We’ll work through the process together, identify what needs practice, and build your confidence one racket at a time.
What Students Say
- Alex
"As a tennis player in college, Drew's classes have really helped when it came to the basics of stringing. Taking his classes can also help you understand on a deeper level how certain strings feel or should feel on the racquet. He also gives you a great understanding of how to use multiple kinds of string machines, and of course his own recommendations on what string machines to use. Would recommend to anyone interested in stringing, it's worth the time and money."
- Shereef
“Drew was a masterful teacher. He taught me how to string and he made sure he covered good standards and recommendations in every step. Having the right foundation for anything new you learn is essential and judging by my experience, I would highly recommend Drew to give you that foundation.”
- Paul
“I’ve been getting my rackets strung by Drew for years, and I absolutely love the pro shop he’s built — it’s become my go-to for everything tennis.”
